Cultural Day
Friday, 18th 

We pride ourselves on being a multicultural school. This year, we are privileged and excited to have staff and students from over 42 territories, regions, and countries across the globe this school year. To learn more about each other, we are planning a very fun and exciting Cultural Day here on campus. We want all our students to come to school dressed up in cultural attire from their countries of origin. We have chosen 9 countries to be represented and have sent invitations to those parents to be presenters. We will have the opportunity to look at pictures, artifacts, musical instruments, and authentic clothing, listen to traditional music, ask questions about their amazing cultures, and taste a sample of their delicious ethnic food. It’s going to be a terrific day of learning! The idea is to bring awareness of each family’s rich heritage so our students become more conscious and aware of others and learn the importance of inclusion of all ethnicities and cultures. We will be taking many pictures and posting them on Dojo and our school website, so keep a look out!

SEE’S CANDY FUNDRAISER
Friday, October 11th - Friday, November 1st

It’s that time once a year when we really need the help of our entire parent body. We would like to see 100% participation in our candy drive. This is our big yearly fundraiser, where we use the money to purchase new classroom materials & other resources for our students throughout the school year, as well as toys and other fun after-school daycare equipment. Thank you for your cooperation!
